Regarding Manaram Library

At Lions Manaram Foundation 2005 Nepal, we believe that education is the key to unlocking potential of individuals, communities, and ultimately, the nation. Through our education development fund, we aim to support underprivileged and marginalized children in Nepal by providing them with quality education.

Lions Manaram Foundation 2005 Nepal, is a non-governmental social organization dedicated to education development in Nepal. The organization was formally registered with the District Administration Office in Kathmandu, Nepal, under the leadership of Ram Bahadur Shrestha, after three decades of imitation towards education.

Our organization is committed to ensuring that every child in Nepal has the opportunity to receive an education regardless of their socio-economic background. We believe education is a basic human right and should be accessible to all.

In memory of the founding president

In loving memory of Ram Bahadur Shrestha, the founding president of Lions Manaram Foundation 2005 Nepal, we pay tribute to his remarkable life and achievements. Born on January 26, 2005 B.S in Sankhuwasabha district, Khandbari, Dhungedhara, Ram Bahadur Shrestha was a natural leader with a passion for social work from a young age. At the age of 16/17, he demonstrated his leadership skills by bringing teachers from India under the guidance of his father for the educational development of his community.

Ram Bahadur Shrestha firmly believed that politics should guide society, and he dedicated himself to serving his community through political activism. He served as the central joint secretary of the farmers’ organization during the panchayat system and joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party after the emergence of the multi-party system in 2047 BS (1992).

The founding of Lions Manaram Foundation was a testament to Ram Bahadur Shrestha’s vision for social development and his dedication to serving his community. His legacy lives on through the work of the organization, which continues to make a positive impact on the lives of people in Nepal.

President’s Words

As the President of Lions Manaram Foundation, I extend my utmost reverence to our Foundation’s honorable Founder President, Late Mr. Ram Bahadur Shrestha. He was a visionary leader who had a deep-rooted belief that education is every child’s birthright. He laid the foundation to transform this vision into reality and always guided us in the right direction. We will always be grateful for his vision and leadership.

At Lions Manaram Foundation, we strongly believe that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they receive proper care, valuable education, health facilities, and good moral values. We are proud to announce that with our Foundation’s cooperation, we have established more than 100 schools in 77 districts to date. We are committed to continuing our efforts to expand educational opportunities to more children throughout Nepal.
